Granted. A country now does periodic purging of females based on personality traits. People who naturally have certain traits try to hide them. It vaguely sounds like...religious persecution. Also, people of a certain kind either settle for someone different from their preference or end up single forever.

I wish humans could talk to abstract beings, like Death, Sin, or Love.

Granted but they only speak in tried and true clichés. Love can only say things like “love conquers all.” This continues until humans loose the ability to communicate with unique and individualist style. Now everyone and everything talks in clichés.

I wish sleep could be obtained without having to surrender time.

Granted. Sleep now has little value. The human world adapted. Work times increased. The time used for work and play increased proportionally. There'd just be a little more time spent under the wonderfully bright moon.

I wish humans found out what happens in death. (That is, there was concrete proof on what happens, rather than the ideas seen in faiths such as now.)
